God is building His kingdom out of all that has been transformed into His likeness. It is the transformed work and character only that can withstand the test of fire (I Corinthians 3:13- 15). Many of us get caught up in ourselves without a conscious awareness because our heart is so desperately wicked until self- evaluation is totally futile (Jeremiah 17:9). In Jeremiah 17:10 it reads, “Lord searches the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according the to the fruit of his doing. (Amp.Translation) God is the only one capable of searching into the dark recesses of our human heart and judging its motivation and deep intents. God’s love will put you in places of testing that will shake the very fiber of your soul and force you into making the choice for victory over the devil because to do otherwise is guaranteed slavery. The Secret Chamber
Locked deep within the heart of every Christian man or woman is a place where few people have been given the rite of passage way. This place I have termed the “secret chamber.” Secret because it is hidden away from the rest of the house and remains invisible to others. Chamber because it is only one room tucked away within the house or temple of a man. 1 Cor. 3:16 reads "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you." Truly we are the human temples of God and He lives within us. We have a responsibility to take care of every part of this temple because it is a godly habitation in which the Lord dwells. Rite of passage rights have been given away to people who have had no other plans than to abandon or to reject us after their selfish goals have been accomplished. Don’t Carry Dirty
A while ago, my Son Bobby and I were talking about people who had a history or carrying guns for defense. Our Son presently has 17 years in the Air Force so guns would be very comfortable and natural for him to carry a gun with a Texas License. We discussed one person we both knew very intimately who had a long history of carrying a gun. Bobby explained to me that that man “carried dirty”. I said “what do you mean?” and he explained Texas Gun Laws to me and how many violated those laws. That is where the phrase “Carrying dirty” comes because it refers to those who carry a gun without legal permission or licensure. That phrase stayed with me and I thought about the Gospel and how so many Christians in the Church of Jesus Christ also “carry dirty”. This Blog is a very tiny taste of a much larger Seminar Teaching called Soul Healing. The American culture may be looked at as sexually abusive. From the time you wake up to the time you go to bed, how many possible sexual stimulation have you encountered? Now, you may just overlook that kind of brainwashing, but how many people are as strong as you are? The commercials on television are always spawning tons of questions to parents from their children. I know because when our children were young, we were asked those same kinds of questions. Yes, children are bombarded with movies, music, internet porn and TV shows that are designed to be sexually stimulating. Children don’t have the emotional development to deal with these sexual stimuli. They can grow up before their time. National sexual brokenness multiplies with every upcoming generation.
