Psalms 51: 1 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. PUT GOD IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIS COVENANT WITH HIS CHURCH. Lovingkindness is a Covenant word so put the Lord in remembrance of His Covenant. Trangressions (to go beyond the limits set by God) cleansing from those. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. And cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions. And my sin is ever before me.
