Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things have been created through Him and for Him.
17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
After a very busy week of counseling some of our very precious RCC Clients in Carrollton and Mansfield,TX, I was absolutely outrage towards Satan. i experience this type of outrage because of the high percentage of Christian Believers who seek to secure their God-given identity outside of Christ their Creator, but will revert to the fallen World’s System for their identity source. This most of the time is the beginning point of our counsel because we must elevate their understanding of their heavenly identity. Their divine identity creates the marvelous spiritual framework of their value, calling and purpose as to why they are even here on this earth and in the Bride of Christ as a servant to the King-of-Kings.
My Husband and I in our outrage make sure that we carefully educate our Clients by letting them know that identity does not come from self-centeredness, national or cultural pre-conditioning nor from the wholeness or brokenness of our parental images. Their identity is the basis from which the Lord grants to us, as Biblical Faith-Based Counselors His perspective, His power and strategies to empower them to face their problematic issues victoriously.
One of our goal along with the Lord’s is to move them away from the platform of self which always depends upon others to support it and towards Him as their Light Source. This will absolutely demolish any identity built upon performance-orientation and the exploitation of others for its establishment. We want to also move them away from the fleshly driving force of pretense of being something that they are not and was never created to become. We take them into the realm of divine intimacy with the Him, where in His love the preparation of their identity, their gifting and their creative purpose has already been completed and is just waiting for their receptivity.
